Christianity divided by churches

              Do you believe in Christ? Are you involved in religious institutions like churches? It is obvious that Christianity itself focuses on one omnipresent God but churches seems to put something in between people and God.

              Of all the years that I have spent worshiping God, I have experienced real rejuvenation in my life. I'm a Born-again Christian and for what I have been doing all throughout this years are praising and trusting in Him. I have seen good people inside the church and I have even met some friends. Being a college student, it is expected from me to meet new friends, and in fact, I have built a lot. The good thing behind this is, they were all believers and we have found our way to get together and build a stronger foundation of our friendship through attending a Christian church, different from where I used to attend into. All of the fun we had during those days are priceless and comparable to nothing. We even established more and more friends from other campuses leaving us overwhelmed. We took lots of group photos and uploaded it to Facebook. Aware of being seen by my other friends, friends from other church, I didn't expected their reaction regarding this.

              Praising and worshiping God is what is important once we got inside the church. The presence of Him inside us is truly indescribable. Getting along with other believers inside is a plus. T
his is a heavy topic to talk to but I just really need to get this out of myself. Church is not a place wherein you go to just socialize and pretend that you enjoy doing other 'essential' stuffs and whatsoever. It is not a valid reason that I go to other church and met new friends for them to ignore me afterwards. I have been ignored for that kind of invalid reason. I have been ignored for the fact that I joined to other church, a CHRISTIAN church, the same kind of church.

              Being an open- minded person really helped a lot dealing with this kind of situation. There might be an instance that they were just jealous because I have spent fun times with other people. What could possibly the reason? The socials that happening inside the church. I care if they ignore me, I care a lot. So I made my way to reconcile this by spending a time with them. That is just the reason, I didn't spent time with them, the time put distance between us, that's it. Sometimes we just need to talk and be honest to get things back to the original. It is not the church that separates people and God, it's the devil that makes its way into our minds, destroying it, contaminating it. Churches may give division, but it is an institution that gathers people to worship God, to establish a strong bond and relationship with everyone; It even teach us to love everyone. Churches may differ the ways of praising God, but the important thing there is, we praise God, together.

Friends

            When is the first time you had a friend? 3, 4, 5 years old? of course you don't remember because at that very point of your age, you thought everyone that surrounded you was your relative? No? At least maybe for me- that was what I thought; though that was logically correct by not everyone's basis. 

            Let us just jump at the very present time, one two or plenty of friends that you acquired is quite an achievement. Not everyone has their 'friend'. Some people out there crying alone, looking for help with nobody to talk to. Well of course you can talk to your mom and your sibling but that is odd enough to go into a procedure. What I mean is, having someone at least closer to your preferences or shall I shay a 'friend' is absolutely much preferred to talk to because he or she is a friend. 

           Here are some of my point of view regarding of friendships. I'll just divide it into two classifications: a rock and a Styrofoam. Probably you are wondering why I had this selected as my representation of the main subject. My answer for that is simply one floats and one doesn't. Just by throwing them into the lake, you can see the difference between the two by just imagining it. My point here is both are different persons that you have established a friendship with. Once you thrown those two, obviously the one's only going to be visible, the other one is vanished. A true friend always stick with you no matter how hard you push him/her. It is very rare to see in this world. Either your own visual could make you hesitate by finding which of the people in your circle is real or unreal. The lesson here is, whether you think that you found that true friend, treasure the opportunity of having a great partner in lifetime. The only thing that is bad is when you both found a loophole in your friendship that may lead into the devastation because you didn't took care of it. Of course you won't let that happen, you won't let your friend drown into the land of unremembered just like the stone you have thrown that never came back. 

         The lesson here is, unfortunately, every friends must be treated equally because every friend has the opportunity to be true to you. It is based on how you act or speak to them. Maybe there would be differences in terms of preferences but that doesn't mean that it won't work out. Throwing people away is just madness and I know for sure that you hate to do that. The time, effort and fun that you have spent with that person will be just wasted by just throwing him/her. It is all enclosed to the famous saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and to the theory of relativity. Its all logic and science but I don't want to fall into that. 

PC versus Mac

PC versus Mac

                 Laptop computers are too mainstream among people. Users may choose their laptop or desktop according to these various types; brand name or what it is in capable of. In this new era of computing technology, there were two various types of laptop gadgets or desktop computers that IT-literate people are really interested; Mac and PC.  PC’s are very popular all around the world, most of us use it. It is capable of running multiple powerful operating systems and of course, more affordable price. Macs are apple’s proprietary, they run only mac’s OS (operating system), less of the people use this in despite of lesser computing capability and higher cost of money. As a student, I prefer to use PC because it is more basic and powerful in terms of computing, energy saving and of course, it costs lesser money.

               PC’s are the most commonly used in industries. People use it in many ways such as machinery programming , business presentations , slideshows, etc. PC (personal computer) is in capable of running multi- OS’s such as Linux, Meego, Windows and etc. Because windows OS’s are the most commonly installed in PCs by default, people found it to be much powerful; that’s why people chose it. Windows operating system is the pro of a PC, it runs smooth, fast, reliable, convenient, and user-friendly. It not just run with multi-tasking capability but it can also run good whenever you had passed the minimum system requirements in which is not high enough to beat the box.

           Macs are apple’s proprietary, the company started in 1976 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Apple_Inc.) Mac computers only runs mac OS x’s in which is the another con of mac. Mac still has the capability of running smooth, fast, and user-friendly in behalf of it’s high minimum system requirements , meaning, it needs much higher specs to run the certain OS. Because the latest Mac Os X , Lion OS was still found to be laggy but still, it is fast enough to fulfil basic and much powerful computing.

             Both Mac and PC are good in terms of computing but there still has other stuff that people must consider. Windows 7 have in common to Mac Lion OS, they both have the capability to hadle multi-tasking process. However, windows , which is the OS built with PC’s, is still better in handling memory management as if the OS itself has many tweaks or configurations that you can apply to make it faster or smoother unlike In Mac Lion Os, Mac’s proprietary, it has limited resources in tweaking . In terms of hardware components, there were different brands of PC’s that you can buy ; it’s either a brand/unit which has the lower price with lower specs or higher price with a higher specs unlike Mac, the company only releases one design, component/specs of a particular unit.

           Buying a computer is difficult when you do not know of what you really need ; it’s either Mac or PC. If you’re dreaming of buying some Macs, then go! but it costs too much money in contrary to PC’s there were a lot of affordable devices that you could get; whether lower price with lower specs or higher price with a higher specs .Being more practical, there were PCs that was the same as the price of Macs but you can notice that the component or specs doubles of triples to the component inside of a Mac.

          

Causes computer addiction

                                                 

                Because computers became very famous in developing a healthy industry and economy, people were drastically affected due to this highly innovated technology device. Although this has many guaranteed benefits, it also has bad impacts into many things. In addition, internet that has been invented during the computer era, that is highly concerned in modern wireless communication, World-wide networking. If these two are combined, what would be there impacts to the people and society? What would be there good and bad effects? People must know the bad effects of every technology invention, particularly the computers; because many people, especially the teenagers, were became very fame in these inventions and it is surreal that it has bad effects to the people who are so passionate in it.

                  In this new generation, it is very usual that many people uses computer in everyday especially the teenagers. Most of the time, teenagers were obligated to use computers for doing home works, projects, etc. However, sometimes, they just use computers to play games, to socialize via internet and just to do other stuffs.   But this principle sometimes change, many of the users consider that the computer is their primary need; meaning that they should have to use it half a day or more. This has become a major factor because of the new technology, new software or games, and the wider internet social media or entertainment.

                    Because of the internet, users can get useful facts or infos by researching to various websites. The website search engines such as www.google.com , www.yahoo.com and www.ask.com were became very popular to us in regarding to research projects. The social internet sites such as Friendster, Facebook, Tumblr, and twitter has just became very popular since then especially to teenagers. Because of these social sites, a person who has a registered account can connect to other people, it has applications and games that users can freely access them, it is also capable of entertaining and informing users by status updates, funny pages, and useful links but these features has also became the major factors on why the users became computer addicted. There were other sites that users can access through internet but because of these websites, including the social networking sites, many users became passionate and somehow addicted. 

                     Video games installed in computers are not unusual or rare. Every computers has games installed that can play single player, 2 players or multi-players. The most popular, online games has just became very famous since the internet era has been developed. The online games, such as Garena, Ragnarok, Tetris Battle, and the most popular to the gamers club, Warcraft Dota are commonly installed in every computers in shop or even in personal computers. Because of these games, users can freely use their tactic skills and special techniques but somehow, being passionate in these games like spending an hour in each gameplay is considered to be normal but sometimes, things went too much exciting and challenging so that the player who extends more than 5 hours of gaming, is considered to be abnormal.

                    Computers has great roles in our lives. It is the answer to our problems but sometimes computers might become our critical problem based on its treatment. Gaming , Net surfing , chatting and etc are just the common activities the we can do but sometimes, the a lot of times were consumed and it could be considered to be inappropriate. As an effect, these facts about computer usage are most considerably what others do so as the year passes by, many cases of computer addiction are increasing. The economy, the education will be weak and the health is not an exception; furthermore, The whole life of a person could change because of being too much computer dependent.

3 BASIC STEPS TO BOOST YOUR COMPUTER’S PERFORMANCE

                           How to speed up your PC to the topmost level? Nowadays almost everyone was literate in terms of computer usage but others were not concerned about computer maintenance. Preventing your computer from risks will have a lot of benefits. An extended lifespan of your computer will be the best benefit and of course, if your computer was running smoothly and fast enough, your work can be done a lot faster and easier.  These are the factors that can help you to maximize your computers performace

                                   Firstly, delete some unnecessary files and programs. Lesser files and programs that the hard drive contains, the faster performance you can get. According to www.Ehow.com , Windows operating system was built to index files inside the hard drive for faster searching and distribution of files. In some other cases, most of us has duplicate files such as folders, photos, videos, music, etc. that could be a waste on the hard drive. Furthermore, programs are really concerned in eating the hard disk space. Sometimes, we used the program for once but never used it again since then. This could be done by pressing the start menu à control panel à programs and features, then you can free up the hard disk space. By the way, after you deleted some files, the backup for these files are inside the recycle bin folder. You can permanently delete these files by clicking the tab “empty recycle bin” or you can do it one by one by right clicking the certain file.

                                  Secondly, run Microsoft maintenance tools for a healthy hard disk. This could be done by pressing the start menu à accessories àsystem tools. Disk defragmentation is the tool that can compress your hard disk’s fragmented files for faster indexing and distributing of files. The defragmentation process not only free up the hard disk space , but also increase the lifespan of your hard disk. Because hard disks became too main stream in most computers, this tool has been too helpful to most Microsoft users. This tool does also the same thing if you have the Solid State Drive or the SSD that was dedicated in new age computers. According to www.Ehow.com, not all operating systems doesn’t needed to defragment because the OS defragment the files itself particularly, the Mac OSx . Disk clean-up is an another tool that is helpful for clearing up the hard disk space such as junk files. The wizard mode itself will lead you to the process in clearing up the junk files, thumbnails, cache, and the other unnecessary files inside your hard disk.  Thus, hard disks were the one that contains all the OS’s files and others, we must take care of it wisely. By the way, hard disks were the spinning part of the computer so we must avoid bumps particularly on laptops because it might cause damage or slow it’s performance.

                                Lastly, Download some third party applications such as Anti-virus , registry cleaner, etc. Anti-virus is the most important application that the computer must have. It has the ability to prevent virus threats that can corrupt your operating system that may lead to hardware malfunction. There were some of freeware anti-viruses such as Microsoft Security Essentials , Avira, etc. Some of the anti-virus programs needs license codes that you can buy online. Viruses are the most dangerous thing that may enter your PC anytime, anywhere . There is always a solution when you notice that the virus was inside your PC; Full or Quick Scan for threats monthly or better, weekly. The common symptoms when the virus entered your PC are : lags, it unexpectedly restart on its own, pop-up errors, sudden notification from anti-virus program , slow boot ,and drastically has a slow performance. The another thing is the registry cleaner. Programs such as browsers, etc. enters registry files whenever you installed them .Sometimes, it leaves registry files when you uninstalled them so it might be the cause for errors and waste of space in the hard disk. I recommend the freeware program ,Ccleaner registry cleaner. It also removes browsing caches or histories, program data, etc. You can download it from www.piriform.com . An another tools from www.Iobit.com , the one that I use, the Iobit malware fighter and advance system care. These programs totally protects you PC from all issues or threats but of course, it has limitations in between freeware and professional version.

Computer maintenance is always a part of basic computing. We do our work in these computers so we must know on how to took a care and pay attention. Anytime, computers might give up in anyways that could spend you a lot of money at high cost. Because computers particularly in laptops, are the most sensitive compared to other home appliances, we must know about these basic steps and apply it in safer ways. In some other kind, most of us use PC’s as the part of our daily lives so spending more time in usage, the more it gets the tendency to cope viruses, and carry up hard disk spaces. Applying these steps might help you to prevent your computer from any damage.

Paglobo ng Populasyon

                   Nakakatuwa nga namang magkaroon ng isang masaya at malaking pamilya . Sa panahon ngayon, ang nakararaming Pilipinong magulang , lalo na ang mga mahihirap, ay nagkakanak nang wala sa tamang bilang o kung sa tutuusin ,ay hindi na nila ito makakayang suportahan pa. Kaya nama’y hindi na magkandaugaga ang pamahalaan ukol sa paglutas ng suliraning ito. Paano nga ba ito naging suliraning panlipunan? Paano kaya malulutas ang krisis na ito?

                   Marami ngayon sa pamilyang Pilipino ay nagiging harang sa pag-unlad ng industriya at ekonomiya ng bansa. Halmbawa na rito ang mga squatters na nakatira sa isang particular na lugar na hindi nila pagmamay-ari o kung sa ating tatawagin ay squatters’ area. Unahin na natin ang edukasyon, asahan na natin na kakaunti lamang ang pondo ng isang pamilya upang maipantustos nila sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na gastusin; ngunit sa kabila ng unos na katulad nito, nagsisidamihan naman ang mga anak na kinakailangang bubuhayin at pag-aaralin. Sa pagtagal ng ganitong paulit-ulit na sitwasyon, sa pagdating ng panahon ay patuloy na dadami ang henerasyon ng mga taong walang sapat na pinag-aralan ; Dadami rin ang mga taong walang hanap-buhay , dahilan upang patuloy na tumaas ang bilang ng mga taong walang sapat na nutrisyon; Dulot nito, wala nang iba pang nanaisin ang mga magulang kundi ang makapaghagilap maipambubuhay para sa kanilang mga anak ; kaya naman tumataas ang bilang ng mga gumagawa ng krimen . Bukod sa mga isyung kinakaharap natin na tulad nito, may iba pang masasamang maidudulot ang paglobo ng populasyon.

Ang populasyon ay ang dami ng bilang ng tao sa isang payak na lugar; ngunit sa estado ng Pilipinas ngayon ay sumusobra na ang bilang ng mga tao. Sa pagkakataong mas darami pa ito, tiyak na mauubos ang natural na pinagkukunang yaman marahil ito sa sobrang dami ng nangangailangan ;kasabay rin nito ang pagkalat ng polusyon sa kapaligiran. Bagama’t ang mangilan-ngilan sa atin ay bukas ang mga isipan ukol sa pagpapanatili ng maayos na kapaligiran, ang nakararami naman ay walang pakialam sa kung anong kahihinatnan ng nakakapinsalang mga bagay-bagay sa ating kapaligiran.

         “ang pagkalabis ay nakakasama” tunay nga naman ang katagang ito lalo na kung isasalamin natin ito sa paglobo ng populasyon sa ngayon. Sa pag aksyon ng pamahalaan gaya ng ipinoproklamang pagpapatupad sa RH bill , paggamit ng mga contraceptives na  kabahagi ng pagpaplano ng pamilya. Ngunit sa itinagaltagal na panahon ang ginugol ditto ng pamahalaan, hindi parin malutasan ang patuloy na pagdami ng isinisilang sa bansa sa kada araw . Sa ating mga mamamayan magsisimula ang pagbabago upang malutasan ang suliranin na ito dahil wala nang iba pa ang magtutulungan, kundi tayo na lang.
